The Au-Pair program is an international cultural exchange for young people aged 18-26. By living as a member of a host family, you improve your German language skills, gain independence, and learn responsibility. During the program, you are exempt from housing and food costs and receive regular monthly pocket money.
3 Types of Programs
German A1+
For participants with no prior language knowledge. Trains German from beginner to A2 level.
Prep: 6 months
Age: 18+
English B2
With flight ticket bonus. For youth with English knowledge; German A1 required.
Prep: 4-6 months
Age: 20+
Au-Pair Boy
Program for male participants. Requires English B2 / German A2+ and a driver's license.
Prep: 3-8 months
Driver's License
Contract & Conditions
Standards according to German Au-Pair regulations.
Working Hours
Up to 30 hours per week.
Pocket Money
Fixed 280 Euro monthly.
Course Fees
Host family pays 70 Euro monthly.
Vacation
4 weeks paid leave per year.
